This policy explains what information Mindful Escapades collects when you use mindful-escapades.com, how we use it, and your rights.

What We Collect

• Account info: name, email, optional phone number, hashed password.
• Subscription data: plan type, status, dates. Payment card details are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
• Activity data: page views, card views, and timestamps used for aggregate analytics.
• Messages you send us: contents of any messages or feature requests submitted through the site.

How We Use It

• To create and operate your account.
• To bill subscriptions through Stripe.
• To send transactional emails (password resets, account notices) via Resend.
• To understand site usage in aggregate so we can improve the experience.
• To respond to your messages and support requests.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for targeted ads.

Third Parties We Rely On

• Stripe — payment processing. Their privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
• Resend — transactional email. Their privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Emergent — hosting infrastructure for our backend and database.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in (an authentication token) and to remember small preferences (e.g., dismissed banners). We use minimal first-party analytics to count page views. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your Rights

You can:

• Edit your name, phone number, and password in your profile.
• Cancel your subscription anytime from the profile page.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing hiki111@icloud.com. We respond within 30 days.

If you are in the EU/EEA or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA — including the right to access, correct, port, or object to processing of your data. Email us to exercise these rights.

Data Retention & Security

We keep your data as long as your account exists, plus a reasonable period for legal/tax records after closure. Passwords are stored using bcrypt hashing. Connections use HTTPS. We never store payment card numbers ourselves.

Children

Mindful Escapades is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via email or a notice on the site. The "Last updated" date will change.
